Anole de taille moyenne au museau long et spatul\u00e9. La couleur du dos varie du vert au marron, en incluant toutes les variations entre ces teintes. Certains individus arborent \u00e9galement des teintes bleut\u00e9es et grises. Le dos est \u00e9galement parcouru de points clairs superpos\u00e9s \u00e0 des marques et taches plus sombres. La face ventrale est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus claire, avec des rayures lat\u00e9rales \u00e9galement claires. Le fanon gulaire est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement jaune vif.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taille corporelle standard (longueur t\u00eate-tronc)<\/strong>. m\u00e2les: 74 \u00e0 140 mm; femelles: 55 \u00e0 86 mm (Nicholson et al., 2012).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dimorphisme sexuel<\/strong>. Seuls les m\u00e2les pr\u00e9sentent un fanon gulaire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Variations<\/strong>. La couleur du corps et les motifs associ\u00e9s varient fortement entre les diff\u00e9rentes populations sur l&#8217;aire de r\u00e9partition d&#8217;origine de l&#8217;esp\u00e8ce (Thorpe et al., 2008; 2010).<\/p>\n<p>La teinte du corps d&#8217;un m\u00eame individu peut \u00e9galement varier, du clair au sombre, selon son \u00e9tat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Confusion possible avec d\u2019autres esp\u00e8ces<\/strong>. La confusion est possible avec une esp\u00e8ce proche au plan phylog\u00e9n\u00e9tique, <em>Anolis extremus<\/em>, originaire de la Barbade.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Distribution<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Native<\/strong>. Martinique.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Introduit<\/strong>. Un individu r\u00e9cemment captur\u00e9 \u00e0 la Dominique (Sulton, 2020). Cependant, \u00e0 ce jour, aucune population \u00e9tablie n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9e sur l\u2019\u00eele.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Biologie et \u00e9cologie<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Habitat<\/strong>. <em>Anolis roquet<\/em> \u00e9volue dans une grande diversit\u00e9 d\u2019habitats naturels, des environnements littoraux x\u00e9riques aux for\u00eats humides d\u2019altitude (Thorpe et al., 2010; 2015).<\/p>\n<p><strong>R\u00e9gime alimentaire<\/strong>. Insectivore et frugivore (Bille, 2018).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reproduction<\/strong>. La femelle d\u00e9pose un unique \u0153uf \u00e0 intervalle d\u2019une \u00e0 deux semaines. La reproduction a lieu tout au long de l\u2019ann\u00e9e si les conditions le permettent (Clobert et al., 1998).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comportement<\/strong>.
